How it works

How TenderSeal turns a tender into a first draft

Upload the tender. TenderSeal does the reading and the first draft. You add what only you know, check it, and submit. Here is each step on a sample tender, what it gives you, and what to check yourself.

What do you need to start?

The tender’s documents, as you downloaded them, in any of 11 languages. And, once, your company’s documents: policies, certificates, case studies, CVs, past bids. Every tender after that starts from what TenderSeal already knows about you.

TenderSeal doesn’t find tenders yet. Bring the ones you’ve found on Find a Tender, Contracts Finder, eTenders or a buyer’s portal.

  1. 01Is it worth bidding?

Is this tender worth bidding for?

Know before it eats your week. TenderSeal checks the tender against your company profile and gives you a go/no-go recommendation, the must-haves you already meet, and the gaps to close.

Our advisor tested it on four tenders where he already knew the answer. Every time, it came within “a gnat’s whisker” of his own call. It only knows what you upload, so add your certificates and policies. And like any AI, it can make mistakes: check it.

    What you get

    • A recommendation: go, conditional go or no-go, and a compatibility score for how well you fit
    • The must-haves you already meet, each with the evidence from your documents
    • The gaps to close before you bid, and the less obvious findings, such as two clauses that contradict each other

    What to check yourself

    • It only knows what you upload: a certificate you hold but haven't added shows as a gap
    • The score is about fit, not your odds of winning

“All four of those occasions, the Go-No-Go information that the app came back with was not exactly what I would have done, but within a gnat's whisker.”

What does the tender ask for, and how is it scored?

See the scoring, eligibility, pass/fail questions and key dates in minutes, before you write a word. Every figure carries a chip for the page it came from.

    What you get

    • The client, budget, deadline, submission language and validity period

    • How it is scored: each question's weight and word limit, and the price weighting
    • The pass/fail questions you must meet to be considered at all

    What to check yourself

“It would have taken me up to about four hours to determine if a tender was suitable. Whereas I downloaded the document, put it into the system, and within 20 minutes, I was able to say, this is good. I could apply for that.”

  4. 04Draft

Can it write the first draft?

Get a first draft built around how the tender is scored. It uses your services, experience and examples, and keeps to the word limits and format. It marks what only you can fill in. Highlight any part to rewrite or strengthen it, then accept or reject each change.

    What you get

    • A first draft of each question, written to how it is scored and within its word limit
    • Your services, experience and examples, from the company documents you uploaded
    • The gaps only you can fill, marked in the draft and listed in one place
    • An assistant that rewrites, shortens or strengthens any passage you select, as changes you accept or reject

    What to check yourself

    • Read it all and make it sound like you: it is a first draft, not a finished bid
    • Check the facts and figures before you submit: AI can make mistakes
    • Check whether the tender allows AI-assisted answers, and say so if it asks

“It is a first draft that I can work with. It's good. It's genuinely good.”
