Our story
Why did we start TenderSeal?
Shaped by 50+ conversations with SMEs, bid writers and advisors, with testers in the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands.
TenderSeal started when four friends out of college set out to solve one problem with AI, and solve it properly. Rather than guess what that problem was, we asked business owners: what would you want AI to fix?
One answer stood out: “We hate doing tenders, but it’s half our revenue. Can’t you make something to automate it?”
We’ve worked on that ever since. Every version of TenderSeal has been tested by people who bid for contracts, then rebuilt around what they told us. Along the way, Dr Simon Raybould, who has run his consultancy Aware Plus since 2008 and writes his own bids, became our advisor. With his feedback, getting from tender to first draft went from days to about an hour.
Our rule hasn’t changed: don’t assume what the solution should be. Ask the people who’ll use it. What our beta users ask for is what we build next.
